Andrew J White is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, working on the F-15 fighter aircraft. He has a service-connected disability and was medically discharged for chronic pain.
After moving to Europe, he was able to access marijuana without the fear of arrest and was able to understand the benefits of medical marijuana to chronic pain patients. Andrew was able to take his medical marijuana with out the worries of side effects that he received from the perscriptions that the doctors would give him.
Now back in the States, Andrew receives medical care from the local VA Hospital and is back on narcotics that are highly addictive, decreased appetite, increase nausea, gives him headaches and anxiety.
Among the fear of arrest and incarceration, Andrew can not receive or use the medication that he knows will work for him with minimum side effects from the VA hospital."
